They'll Love You When You're Dead, Part I

In July, on my last morning in Berlin I woke up and headed straight to the Jewish Cemetery near the hostel (Jüdischer Friedhof Schönhauser Allee, Schönhauser Allee 22). Time flew by and I think I spent nearly three hours there. As a result I had hundreds of photos in my camera and a dead battery. I went back to the hostel to recharge it and then headed out in search of yet another cemetery. But now back to the Jewish cemetery. No words can describe the beauty of that place. The sun shone very brightly that day and made the whole place seem even more magical. There are no statues in this cemetery but lots of old and beautiful gravestones and the whole place is covered in ivy. Here's some black and white shots first and the coloured one's will follow in a couple of days. I thought I'd found a challenger (in terms of beauty) for the Highgate Cemetery in London but I found an even more exquisite cemetery than this one in Vienna. I'll get back to that in time.
